James Parrish, Owner/Taxidermist

I am thrilled to be living my dream of being a taxidermist. My dream began when I was in High School. I wanted to be a taxidermist, but my parents wanted me to go to college. I attended North Carolina State University where I received batchelors degrees in chemistry and science education.

I learned taxidermy through courses at Johnston Community College, Peidmont Community College, self-study, and lots of practice.

I am married to a wonderful woman, Martha. We live near Garner, NC. I operate my shop from our home. This really helps me keep my prices reasonable. People ask why I named my studio New Life Taxidermy Studio. The reason is simple: I have been given New Life through Jesus Christ and I want to honor Him not only in my personal life, but in my business as well.

My hobbies include hunting (especially waterfowl), camping, fishing, and competing in taxidermy competitions. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Thank You for Your Business!
