General Information
There are a few bits of general information to keep in mind about New Life Taxidermy Studio. We do not maintain regular business hours and see clients by appointment only. In the near future, we plan to begin having limited regular business hours in addition to seeing clients by appointment. Please give us a call or email us to set up an appointment to bring in your trophy. We are very flexible and can be available most any time if we know that you are coming by.
The policies below are designed for two reasons. First they are to make sure that you, the customer, are totally pleased with work done by New Life Taxidermy Studio. Second, they are designed to make sure our business will survive. We think the policies are fair and we will try to work with anyone with special circumstances.
Information reguarding pricing and payments:
- We will accept specimens with no deposit if freezer space is available. Work will not begin until deposit is paid.
- A non-refundable 50% deposit is due within 30 days of drop-off.
- Deposits not made within 30 days will result in the specimen becoming the sole property of New Life Taxidermy Studio.
- Customers must sign a contract stating that the specimen was legally harvested.
- The remaining balance on a specimen is due within 30 days after notification that the mount is complete.
- Mounts not paid for and picked up with in 30 days will be assessed a 10% per month storage charge.
- Mounts not paid for and picked-up within 90 days become the sole property of New Life Taxidermy Studio.
- A returned check fee of $30 will apply to checks returned to us for any reason.
- Please make sure you give any special instructions at the time the specimen is dropped off.
- We accept cash, check, money orders, or credit cards.
- All sales are final.
Guarantee Information:
- All mounts are guaranteed to look great for a lifetime.
- I will repair your mount if possible, or mount another specimen of the same type if your mount cannot be repaired.
- All decisions are final and are made by James Parrish.
- Guarantee does not apply to fish gloss coats. Fish gloss coats are guaranteed for 2 years from the time the mount is picked up.
- Guarantee applies only if mount has been properly cared for. Improperly cared for mounts or mounts that have fallen from the wall can usually be repaired, at your expense.
- Guarantee does not apply to damage caused by dermestid beetles.
